As the owner, Connie oversees all therapy programs, supervises staff, as well as provides direct services to many of the clients served at ABC. She also provides supervision services for Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts and Speech Language graduate students from several local universities. Connie moved to Bay City in 2003 and started ABC as a small private practice.
Connie received her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh in 1990 and her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis from Penn State University in 2002. She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
Over the last 20 years, Connie has worked on a variety of federally funded research/outreach grants focused on the development of best practice models for children with disabilities, specifically autism. She has also practiced and supervised in several settings, including the school system, as well as in both pediatric hospital and rehabilitation facilities.
Connie and her husband David are currently teaming their businesses to provide supervised, vocational opportunities for teens and young adults with traumatic brain injuries and Autism Spectrum Disorders within one setting.
